person of influence

While it is beneficial to have a relationship with people of influence, Jesus has proven himself to be the world renowned most powerful influence with benefits that never run dry. Only when we fully grasp that can we truly experience the "peace that passes all understanding". That peace is laced with excitement in which the soul should wake up to every morning ....and starting off the day with the most life changing conversation with the most important person in this entire world: Jesus.

In my reach for him this morning that is what he reminded me. It seems that this is a most important piece of information he should've told me years ago. But I didn't ask. I guess he only gives answers when we ask. Not necessarily with words but by attitude of the heart.

And so from this day forward, may I never forget the assurance of being in the relationship with the most powerful influential person in the world. No matter the life burden, no matter the circumstance. No matter what, I can truly smile inside because he already has it planned out and every puzzle piece ready to set in place. He's just waiting to "consult" with me every morning so that I am reminded and aware of what he's already taken care of and that he's already been working with all the specific people he's got involved. Course, he only convenes upon my request. May I never go a day without requesting his presence, his wisdom and his influence....his way. My way has far too many blind spots and obstacles.

I'm glad he doesn't only listen, consult, comfort or lead when I do something right. If that were the case, he'd never have a minute to give. My regret this very amazing Saturday morning is that I don't have any coffee to make and add to cream/coconutsugar with this morning's conversation.
