A slightly uneventful Friday. For the first time ever I let the girls walk all the way down to the Brookside entrance and buy a snack. Then they came up with the clever idea to do what they typically like to do with daddy once every couple months: buy a couple cheap, in price, but digital quality movies. Legally, by the way. Only this time daddy's not here. They came back home with a couple and even brought an extra warm n crunchy turon to share. Things like this barely fill the void. But at least we're only days away from the half way point. Days away from only three weeks before the Stud of the house gets back where we'd much rather have him: with us. Then the Friday nights can feel more like Manila family Friday nights with all of us under one roof...or at least in the same place doing something family-ish. For now we settle for monkeying around and praying with daddy before he hops off to bed...through the phone camera. One of his new best friends is taking him diving in the morning. And now we are concentrating on THE HOBBIT.
Only because of Jesus can we stand to be islands apart. It's only because of Jesus that we are. The Edge Davao team is blessed to have Mike's experience love, support and involvement. Davao City is blessed to have the only God that cares to put such a team together for them. God has great things in store for Davao. May he be lifted higher than ever before......

- KimberLee Voss Medlin We're on Besdford. The entrance road is blocked bcuz it's under serious reconstruction. So I've been learning my way through a lot of the streets. I pass ur old house a lot. It's now green. Where there was an open lot next to it is no more....
