itinerary finally in hand

A las....after 24 years, I have purchased our flight itinerary for May.  Dates make a huge difference in price....by changing the departure date to a day earlier than originally planned, it knocked over $100 off the price.  So, before taxes, our tickets are $821.  I hear China Air is nice.  A few hours in San Fransisco and a few ours in Beijing before Manila.  It wasn't my ideal route which is straight across the south Pacific waters.  However, the most important is the final destination.  

Chances are I'm the only weirdo so sentimental over this momentous long awaited travel venture where I get to introduce my husband to my country, people, cultures...etc.  that's so overjoyed to tears.  Ideally, it would've been nice to be able to get tickets for all the kids as well and spend the entire summer home.  Fortunately, my mom's amazing enough to agree to make plans of being here with the kids for the three weeks.  

Now to finish my letter to my dad by including my itinerary and send it off in the mail tomorrow...........
