if you only knew the millions of things I want to say....but don't

Saturday

premature capitulation?

Another Saturday and another weekEND.  Where does time fly to?  How do I get caught up with it?  The answer will most likely continue to elude me as it has for the past three decades.

I have capitulated to letting the girls have a facebook account.  In their myopic elementary mentality it's a big deal to be able to play games.....while in my mother-bearish tread it's apparent I have also capitulated to the potentially stressful task of keeping what predators there may be away.  While the boys appear to be handling their cyber freedom with responsibility so far, this mother's watchful eye still monitors all the social bantering.

Yesterday the umpteen mangoes that I accumulated during Safeway's 3/$1 week bargain had finally ripened.  The perfect storage process is none other than to cube and freeze in ziploc bags.  They will be perfect for shakes, slushes, Christmasy mangoritas and [the one thing I've been looking forward to creating] mango gelato.  The gelato requires no sugar because the mango is already so sweet as it is.  The two ingredients of frozen plain yogurt and mangoes is perfectly easy.  It'll make for a nice freezing islandish maw stuffing.    Now that I think of it....would be interesting to taste what a hint of mint would add besides mint.  A refreshing twist to the palate?  There's only one way to find out....and I'm sure readers will read about it once it's been tried and tested.
