if you only knew the millions of things I want to say....but don't

Wednesday

stenchy

I'm sitting here in my dining room smelling the stench from the trash cans that didn't get emptied by the trash guys Monday or Tuesday.  Apparently, Mike put them out there this morning banking on them to make up for their earlier absence.  The only reason why it even stinks is because a man was just rummaging through it.  He spent a good 20 minutes or more.  I have no idea what he was looking for or what he was collecting in his plastic bag from it.  It never ceases to amaze me how many people rummage through it every time it's set out.  It all seems so repulsive beyond words....all because of the ripeness of the previous weeks leftovers.  Yes, let the imagination run wild and add a couple million maggots to the picture.

Hopefully the fan will blow it back out the window.  I'm certainly thankful I'm not having to rummage through it.  I may never understand just how unfortunate one has to be to get to that point.  I'm fine with that.  Quite fine.  That doesn't mean this heart has no beat for those that do.  Jesus bless them...and those that pick up the trash, tear apart the bags, separate the plastics, metals and glass.  God knows they should be getting paid thousands if not more for what they do.

I can live without the smell of this ugly.  I'd much rather do so.  Well, looky there....he needed the trash can itself more than we do. Joy.  I get to buy another one.
