if you only knew the millions of things I want to say....but don't

Sunday

in parting sorrow

What a glorious Sunday. Incredible Sunday.  The church service was filled with nearly all things patriotic: slide show of currently serving personal from the area, a Vet's testimony of how he searched and came to Christ after serving, Justin's Freedom song...etc.  The tear jerking blow was a letter from the pastor, red to the congregation, announcing his departure from the church.  Being Anne's friend, this was quite the blow because she had never made mention of anything that was going on leading up to today's announcement.  At first I was bewildered that this was how I would find out.  That's what brought out the tears.  So much so that I had to excuse myself and jet for the restroom, find a stall, close the door and get myself together.  Later in the week I hope to find out more from Anne....hoping that she feels free to share.

Our Victorian rose is the sweetest gentle spirited blessing.

It was nice to watch this Army chopper take off and fly over the flag and cross...the true symbol of freedom.
