Okay, so after the first Vital Moms [akin to MOPS] in September I didn't make it again until....er....um...today. Sounds oh so pathetic, but I'm one of those moms that can't make up my mind when a gazillion other things start filling or cluttering the dutyful plate. This is why it's somewhat important to discourage myself from committing to anything that requires a more talentful display of organizational skills. This mama butterfly likes to exercise much more day-to-day freedom than the typical schedule oriented domesticated Martha-Stewart-like perfectionist. I say so with much delightful chortling and no mockery towards those that are the likes of her.
It was nice to jibber jabber amongst fellow moms again, let my tongue joyously loose with much laughter...and then of course wonder [later] if I said too much. Very rarely does a woman not wonder if her tongue has grown too many inches, yah? Or am I the only one?
On this Veteran's Day, it was beautifully appropriate to play Justin Unger's Freedom song. Many a tears were shed in the room amongst those of varying connections to veterans and/or currently active duty service members. Me included.
