minus another two pounds

The "traditional" doctrine of safe weight loss is to go for minus two pounds a week in order to keep it off. It tub-thumps all speedier weight-shedding as dangerous, faddish and unreliable. That maybe true for some. However, the multi-billion dollar weight loss industry is just as lurid as so many other industries that've attracted suspicious, not so blinded, public eyes that don't take just anybody's word on blind faith. People want to see real science. And just like so many other multi-million and multi-billion dollar industries, the weight loss industry gladly takes money from the lazy-minded easy believing eyes and ears. Minus two pounds a week is great for the person willing to ruffle their own already stressed feathers....and for the person that has but only a few pounds to shed. It thins motivation and so many other psychological factors needing daily visual feed of success.
Instead of eating it with my lunch, today's change was eating my [lunch] fruit of choice as a morning snack. |
